Art’n BLOOM! is an extraordinary event that takes place 2 to 3 times a year on the first floor of Hotel BLOOM! For one day only, the hotel and meeting rooms become a non-permanent exhibition where young and upcoming talent get a free platform to display their work in an original way. The 7^th edition will – like last year – offer an exciting smorgasbord of fashion talent.

This year, the St. Jazz-ten-Noode festival celebrates its 26th birthday. The festival was founded in 1985 to provide a free, popular and friendly music event in the heart of Brussels where jazz would be honored.

After 25 years, the festival has been marked by great jazz moments !

The festival is known for its high quality program. The town of Saint-Josse-ten-Noode is, just like Jazz itself, a mixture of backgrounds, styles and energies, with a true mosaic of cultures and thus a perfect location for the festival.

The performances take place at the Botanique (next to Hotel BLOOM !) and Place Saint-Josse-Ten-Noode (next to metro station Madou).

This Saturday the 27th of August City Parade celebrates its 11th edition. After traveling from one city to another, Brussels welcomes the City Parade again. Be part of an unforgettable day with amazing trucks, pumping sound systems, lights, decoration, dancers, dj’s and more!

Opening Party (Free entrance)

From 12.00 am, the square in front of the Gare du Nord will be transformed into a party-zone. On a large podium, international guest dj’s will start the party. Twenty trucks will arrive on the Boulevard King Albert-II to park before the departure of the parade. The trucks will play their own music, more than hundred of dj’s will be present!

Street Parade (Free entrance)

The trucks will depart at 4:00 pm on the Boulevard Roi Albert-II and will go to Tour & Taxis where the closing festival will take place.

Closing Festival (Entrance : 45€/person. Presale: 33€ buy online: www.//cityparade.be)

On the parking lots of Tour & Taxis, a gigantic podium with numerous guest dj’s will be set up. At 6.00 pm the trucks arrive and play their music until 11.00 pm. After the trucks left the parking lot, the party goes on until 02.00 am.

-          Opening party: by foot: the Gare du Nord is only a 7-minute walk from the hotel

-          Street Parade & Closing Festival: by subway: from Botanique (in front of the hotel)

An Urban BBQ is not a usual kind of barbecue! This event features well-known chefs, some with stars to their name, who cook ‘live’. The surroundings are friendly, family-oriented and of course very much urban. This year, the culinary event is scheduled for Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 August, from 13.00 to 17.00 on the Mont des Arts. For an all-in price of 10 €, gastronomy fans can taste many different dishes presented as tapas. Holders of a 10-day Pass (of the Brussels Summer Festival) enjoy a 4 € reduction.

This year, leading chefs from the south of France will be present:

- Yves Mattagne** from ‘Sea Grill’ restaurant

- Gaetan Colin, Belgian representative at the Bocuse d’Or 2011 contest

- Damien Van der Hoeven, from ‘Le Coriandre’ restaurant

- Sébastien Chambru* (Meilleur Ouvrier de France), chef at the legendary ‘Moulin de Mougins’

- Guillaume Anor, chef at the ‘Belle Rive’ in Juan-les-Pins
- Mauro Colagreco*, from the ‘Mirazure’ in Menton
