Tour & Taxis – a runner up
At the heart of the site, which during the last century acted as the central hub for the transits of goods through customs, the Entrepôt Royal is now home to several offices. Constantly gaining in popularity the shopping gallery that crosses the Entrepôt Royal, over 180 metres long, is set to become a popular area for high-class shopping, dining and ‘to be seen’ in one of the trendy restaurants or bars.
The Marolles
While you do still see washing lines strung between buildings, the Marolles is now a mix of shabby shops, gentrified antique boutiques and interior design palaces. The two main arteries are the Rue Haute and Rue Blaes. Midway along Rue Blaes is place du Jeu de Balle. Marolles’ epicentre where daily flea market is surrounded by earthy bars and cafés. Tip: take the public lift next to the Palais de Justice down to the Marolles.
Package that includes 1 night stay, breakfast, city map and an entrance ticket for the Magritte Museum.
