Once or twice a week we guide you through the parks and streets of Brussels for a unique BLOOM! Running Tour. Depending on the skills of the participant we go for a tour of 5km or 10km.

Not only for sporty hotel guests,  fit persons who are passionate about running are more then welcome!

Elvis Pompilio, the famous belgian hat designer has just opened a “boutique workshop” in the Grand Sablon, where his unique hats are created. At the Trajector Art Fair of April 2010, he also was present in Hotel BLOOM! with one of his sculptures to explore the fine line between art and fashion… “The bear with the hat” that stood in the lobby was a great success!!

In April the Trajector Art Fair transformed Hotel BLOOM! into a vibrant boutique hotel art fair! There were 18 hotel rooms, 8 conference rooms and public spaces that were used as exhibition space for art galleries, curators and artists to present some of the best emerging contemporary art to the Brussels audience.

The international exhibitors ranged from very young artists to those already established on the international art circuit.     One we particularly liked here at BLOOM! was ‘the bear with the hat’ by famous Belgian designer Elvis Pompilio, who has his own shop in Brussels, nearby the Sablon. A lot of people from our staff but also guests took a picture with it. They felt like kids in Disneyland!

This event took place in sweet collaboration with Art Brussels, Fashion Museum of Antwerp (MOMU), Diesel, Vitamin Water and Weekend Knack/Le Vif. Thanks guys!

The next Art’n BLOOM! event will take place in September, so keep an eye on the date on www.artnbloom.be !
