Brussels’ Urban BBQ for gastronomy lovers
An Urban BBQ is not a usual kind of barbecue! This event features well-known chefs, some with stars to their name, who cook ‘live’. The surroundings are friendly, family-oriented and of course very much urban. This year, the culinary event is scheduled for Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 August, from 13.00 to 17.00 on the Mont des Arts. For an all-in price of 10 €, gastronomy fans can taste many different dishes presented as tapas. Holders of a 10-day Pass (of the Brussels Summer Festival) enjoy a 4 € reduction.
This year, leading chefs from the south of France will be present:
- Yves Mattagne** from ‘Sea Grill’ restaurant
- Gaetan Colin, Belgian representative at the Bocuse d’Or 2011 contest
- Damien Van der Hoeven, from ‘Le Coriandre’ restaurant
- Sébastien Chambru* (Meilleur Ouvrier de France), chef at the legendary ‘Moulin de Mougins’
- Guillaume Anor, chef at the ‘Belle Rive’ in Juan-les-Pins

From Hotel BLOOM! you can easily access the Mont des Arts by public transportation (Metro station, trams and busses at “Botanique”) or by foot (15 minutes walk).
Have a unique dinner experience @The Cube
Electrolux has opened a unique temporary restaurant with a splendid view on Brussels. Indeed, all the walls are built with glass! The restaurant will stand on the top of the triumph arch in the Jubelpark, one of the biggest monument in Brussels. From Friday 25th March till the end of June, guests will have the chance to dine in an uncommon wonderful place.
The menu will be created by chefs with Michelin stars: Bart de Pooter, chef of restaurant De Pastorale (**) in Reet and Sang Hoon Degeimbre, chef of L’Air Du Temps in Noville’sur’Mehaigne (**). They will provide a different delicious menu each week.
The lunch costs €150 p.p. and the dinner €200 p.p., including drinks. The restaurant can welcome 18 person maximum. This is a unique experience. Be one of the ‘Happy Few’!
After Brussels, The Cube will travel to Stockholm, Moscow and Zurich; it will also stand on the top of famous buildings.
